Our registration

JP CA Pty Ltd trading as Joe's Practice provides registered tax agent services. TPB Tax Agent registration number: 26363618.

Confirm a practitioner's registration using the Tax Practitioners Board public register.

Our responsibilities to you

As a registered tax practitioner, we must comply with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, the Code of Professional Conduct and other applicable laws and professional obligations. These include acting honestly and with integrity, acting lawfully in your best interests, managing conflicts, maintaining confidentiality, providing services competently, taking reasonable care, keeping you informed, maintaining appropriate records and holding required professional indemnity insurance.

Our engagement letter will explain the agreed scope, fees, responsibilities and any limitations applying to your matter.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate and timely information and records.
  • Tell us about relevant changes or omissions.
  • Keep records required by law.
  • Review documents and returns before approving lodgement.
  • Meet payment and other obligations by their due dates.
  • Ask questions if you do not understand advice, documents, scope or fees.

You remain legally responsible for information supplied and your taxation and reporting obligations, even when using a registered tax agent.

Complaints and concerns

Please raise any concern with us first by emailing joe.zou@joespractice.com.au with a description of the issue and the outcome sought.

You may also make a complaint about tax agent services to the Tax Practitioners Board. The process and online form are on the TPB complaints page.

Events and registration conditions

Registered tax practitioners must tell current and prospective clients about prescribed events occurring within the applicable five-year period and any registration conditions limiting their services. Where relevant, these matters will be disclosed in writing as required.
